Wokaholic is the brainchild of five foodies, who got together to do something they were passionate about. The co-founders of Wokaholic wanted to bring to the city of joy something that Calcuttans had not witnessed before. The concept of a Wok Box is extremely popular in European and American countries; however, it was quite new to India.

When Wokaholic opened its doors to the city on the evening of 1st October, 2016 they were amazed by the response. On the first day of operations Wokaholic was sold out in a couple of hours! The amazing response was a testimony to the fact that people value good food, and also proved the fact that people are always open to trying something new.
